Balaji Speciality Chemicals, a subsidiary of Balaji Amines, commenced production of ethyleneamines and related products after receiving MPCB consent in June 2019. The company also received clearance for additional morpholine capacity of 7,000 tpa, bringing total to 10,000 tpa, and began production of acetonitrile and THF.
