# Shimadzu's Chinese unit to build forklift hydraulic pump and valve plant in Tianjin

Shimadzu's Chinese subsidiary Tianjin Shimadzu Hydraulic (TSH) will start building a new plant in November 2019 in Tianjin's Xiqing Economic-Technological Development Area to make gear pumps and control valves for forklifts, with completion planned for September 2020. TSH targets 300,000 gear pumps per year by fiscal 2023.
