# GE Steam Power and AAEM begin manufacturing for Akkuyu nuclear plant

GE Steam Power and AAEM Turbine Technology LLC have begun manufacturing the Arabelle steam turbine rotor for Turkey's first nuclear power plant, the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant, in Belfort, France. The contract was awarded in October 2017.
