# GE Steam Power and AAEM begin manufacturing steam turbine for Akkuyu nuclear plant

GE Steam Power and AAEM Turbine Technology have begun manufacturing the Arabelle steam turbine rotor for Turkey's first nuclear power plant, Akkuyu, in Belfort, France. The plant will generate 4.8 GW of carbon-free electricity.
