McDermott International, along with joint venture partners Chiyoda International Corporation and Zachry Group, was awarded a mega contract by Golden Pass Products LLC (a JV of Qatar Petroleum and ExxonMobil) to build an LNG export project in Sabine Pass, Texas, with three trains totaling ~16 MTPA capacity. Work starts Q1 2019, completion in 2024.
