# GE Power wins Israel Electric contract for Orot Rabin gas plant conversion

GE Power signed a contract with Israel Electric Corporation to modernise the coal-fired Orot Rabin plant into a gas plant using HA gas turbines, with a 15-year services agreement and steam turbine, generator and HRSG supply. The plant will generate more than 630MW.
