# Gexa-Lotos expands geosynthetics production with new plant in Astrakhan

Gexa-Lotos is commissioning a new large-scale plant in the Lotos special economic zone in Astrakhan, Russia, to produce geosynthetic fabrics and synthetic yarns. Capacity will reach 60 tonnes per month by January 2019 and 200 tonnes per month in the second half of 2019. Investment is between USD 20-25 million.
