# Siemens and Silovye Mashiny JV starts building gas turbine plant in Gorelovo

The joint venture Siemens Technologies of Gas Turbines has begun construction of a gas turbine manufacturing plant in Gorelovo, Leningrad Oblast. The plant, costing €275 million, is scheduled to start operations at the end of 2014 and will produce turbines with capacities of 172 MW and 295 MW.
