# Cypress and SK hynix system ic form joint venture for NAND flash business

Cypress Semiconductor Corp. entered into a joint venture with SK hynix system ic, Inc. to manufacture and sell Cypress' SLC NAND products. The joint venture will be 60% owned by SK hynix system ic and 40% by Cypress, based in Hong Kong, and is expected to launch in Q1 2019.
