Evonik Industries and Wynca agreed to form a joint venture, Evonik Wynca (Zhenjiang) Silicon Material Co., Ltd., to build a fumed silica production facility in Zhenjiang, China, with an investment in the mid double-digit million euro range. The plant will have an annual output of 8,000 metric tons and is scheduled to become operational in 2021.
