AkzoNobel Specialty Chemicals finalized an agreement to acquire Brazilian firm Polinox, South America's leading producer of ketone peroxides. The sale is expected to close in Q4 2018. AkzoNobel will also invest to add capacity at its Itupeva, Brazil site.
