# Aramco and NOV form onshore drilling joint venture in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Aramco and National Oilwell Varco agreed to form a joint venture to provide high-specification land rigs and drilling equipment in Saudi Arabia. The JV will build a manufacturing facility in Ras Al-Khair with capacity to manufacture 10 rigs per year, expected to be commissioned by 2020.
