# Sandvik signs framework agreement to automate Resolute's Syama gold mine

Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology has signed a strategic framework agreement with Resolute Mining to fully automate the Syama gold mine in Mali. Sandvik will deliver AutoMine and OptiMine systems and a fleet of equipment. The system is scheduled for commissioning in late 2018.
