# Bürkert begins expansion of Menden site near Dortmund

Bürkert Fluid Control Systems broke ground on 3 December 2018 for an extension at its Menden site, doubling production and office space to about 5,500 m2 within a year. The system house will grow from 52 to 80 staff over the next six to eight years.
