# ENERGOPROM and RIEDHAMMER start construction of furnace at Novocherkassk Electrode Plant

ENERGOPROM and RIEDHAMMER GmbH signed an engineering contract to start construction of a new circular furnace at Novocherkassk Electrode Plant in Russia. The furnace will nearly double output of premium graphite electrodes UHP 610 mm, with commissioning scheduled for the second half of 2019.
