# Toshiba starts construction on Cirebon coal-fired power plant expansion in Indonesia

Toshiba Energy Systems & Solutions Corporation has started construction on the expansion of the Cirebon coal-fired thermal power plant in Indonesia. Toshiba will supply a 1,000MW ultra-supercritical steam turbine and generator, with commercial operation expected in 2022.
