# Gelex to build $200M+ electrical equipment complex in Hai Phong

Vietnam Electricity Equipment Corporation (GELEX) signed a principle agreement to lease 50 hectares in Deep C III industrial park to build an electrical equipment manufacturing complex with investment of $200-300 million. The first phase includes a German-based cable factory operated by Cadivi, expected to be inaugurated by end of 2018.
