# Sumitomo Electric expands water treatment membrane module capacity in Zhongshan, China

Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd. will expand production capacity for POREFLON water treatment membrane modules at its subsidiary Zhongshan Sumiden Hybrid Products Co., Ltd. in Guangdong, China, aiming to increase yearly production to 500,000 m², 1.5 times the current capacity. New facilities are scheduled to commence operation in March 2018.
