# OMMIC inaugurates first European 6-inch GaN wafer production line in France

OMMIC inaugurated a new 6-inch GaN production line in Limeil-Brévannes, France, making it the only European company able to produce GaN and GaAs on 6-inch wafers. The facility was funded in June 2016 by Bpifrance, BNP Paribas, Banque Populaire and Financière Victoire.
