# LivaNova and MicroPort joint venture obtains China approval for Rega pacemakers

LivaNova PLC and MicroPort Scientific Corporation announced that their Shanghai-based joint venture MicroPort Sorin Cardiac Rhythm Management Co. Ltd. obtained approval from the China Food and Drug Administration for its family of Rega pacemakers, the first domestically manufactured pacemakers in China meeting international standards.
