Asahi Kasei and China National Bluestar (Group) established two joint ventures in Nantong, Jiangsu, China for the integrated production and sale of modified polyphenylene ether (mPPE) and its intermediates. The manufacturing JV will produce 30,000 tonnes/year of PPE and 20,000 tonnes/year of mPPE.
