# Gulf Energy opens FREE factory for oil well equipment in Nizwa

Gulf Energy SAOC opened the Fishing & Remedial Experts Enterprise (FREE) factory in Nizwa Industrial Area, Oman, to manufacture drilling and fishing tools for the oil and gas industry. PDO signed a 10-year contract as main customer, and the factory will create up to 70 Omani jobs.
