# Chandra Asri awards EPC contract to Toyo Engineering for new polyethylene plant

PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk has signed an EPC contract with Toyo Engineering Group for the construction of a new 400 KTA polyethylene plant in Cilegon, Banten, Indonesia. The plant is targeted to start operations in 2020, increasing total PE capacity from 336 KTA to 736 KTA.
