# ZTE to acquire 48.04% stake in Turkish telecom company Netas

ZTE, through its wholly-owned subsidiary ZTE Cooperatief U.A., signed an equity purchase agreement on December 6, 2016, to acquire a 48.04% stake in Netas from OEP Turkey Tech B.V. for up to $101,280,539. ZTE will become the largest shareholder.
