SOCAR-Polymer is constructing a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plant and a polypropylene (PP) plant in Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park, Azerbaijan. Total investment is $750 million, with $340 million spent so far. The PP plant will start production in Q1 2018, and the HDPE plant in summer 2018.
