Grupa Azoty has opened a new polyamide manufacturing plant (Polyamide Manufacturing Plant II) in Poland, increasing annual polyamide capacity by 80,000 tons to around 170,000 tons. The investment was $88 million, and ABB supplied the Freelance distributed control system for the plant.
