# Toshiba starts construction on expansion of Cirebon coal-fired power plant in Indonesia

Toshiba Energy Systems & Solutions Corporation announced that construction work on the expansion of the Cirebon coal-fired thermal power plant in Indonesia has started. Toshiba will supply a 1,000MW ultra-supercritical steam turbine and generator. Commercial operation is expected in 2022.
