# Velan wins US$36M nuclear valve supply deal in China

Velan's French subsidiary in Lyon has won a US$36 million order to supply nuclear-class valves to four Chinese nuclear companies: Nuclear Power Engineering Corp., China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., China Nuclear Energy Industry Corp., and State Nuclear Power Engineering Corp. The valves will be used in new nuclear plants across China, with delivery planned throughout 2018 and 2019.
