# Transasia Bio-Medicals inaugurates IVD manufacturing facility at AMTZ in Visakhapatnam

Transasia Bio-Medicals Ltd. inaugurated a state-of-the-art medical devices manufacturing plant at the Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone in Visakhapatnam. The 35,000 sq ft facility, the largest of its kind in Asia, will manufacture COVID-19 test kits and has an annual capacity of 2 million test kits. Initial investment was over 30 crore INR.
