# WinGD wins first ethanol-fuelled engine order for two Newcastlemax ore carriers

WinGD secured the first order for its ethanol-fuelled X-DF-M/E engines, for two 325,000-dwt ore carriers booked by Shandong Shipping Corporation and chartered to Vale, to be built by Beihai Shipbuilding in China. Engine deliveries are scheduled for early 2029.
