# Burckhardt Compression wins Laby compressor order for world's first ammonia bunkering vessel

Burckhardt Compression won a contract to supply its Laby compressor technology for the world's first purpose-built ammonia bunkering vessel, developed with Nissin Gas Engineering. The 5,000 cubic metre vessel, commissioned by Itochu, is scheduled for delivery in 2027. The order was announced on 27 November 2025.
