# Köksan to build 2.2M-ton green polyester plant in Rudong, China with Oerlikon Barmag

Köksan Group signed a cooperation agreement with Oerlikon Barmag Huitong Engineering for continuous polycondensation technology with 400,000 tons per year capacity at a new plant in Rudong County, Nantong. Production is scheduled to start in mid-2026.
