# Petronas awards EPCC contract for Flexi HDPE plant to Tecnimont-HQC consortium

Petronas awarded an engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) contract to a consortium led by Tecnimont and China Huanqiu for a flexible high-density polyethylene plant at the Pengerang Integrated Complex. The plant will have a capacity of 400,000 metric tonnes per annum and is expected to be completed by May 2019.
