# Chery and Sapura agree on Malaysian axle-system assembly

Chery Corporate Malaysia and Sapura Machining Corporation (SMC), a subsidiary of Sapura Industrial Berhad, agreed to assemble front and rear axle systems for selected Chery vehicle programmes in Malaysia. The master purchase agreement is valued at about RM307 million over four and a half years.
