HD Hyundai Construction Equipment held a completion ceremony for a new engine and battery pack plant at its Gunsan Campus in Gunsan National Industrial Complex, South Korea. The plant was built with an investment of KRW 116.8 billion over about two years on a 19,000-pyeong site. It can produce 120 defense engines for tanks and 1,250 large power generation engines (1-3 MWe) per year, plus up to 1,460 MWh of battery packs annually.
