Spanish engineering company Savener has been selected as subcontractor by HDEC (PowerChina) to perform engineering and design work for a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant in Sumgayit, Azerbaijan. The $407 million project, developed by Acwa Power, will have a capacity of 300,000 cubic meters per day and is scheduled for commissioning in Q4 2028.
