# XCMG opens first overseas new energy manufacturing base in Indonesia

XCMG has inaugurated its first overseas new energy production center in Indonesia's Weda Bay Industrial Park (IWIP). The facility combines local production, R&D, and aftersales support for electric construction equipment, and will also handle old equipment recycling and parts remanufacturing. XCMG handed over its first batch of electric construction equipment to partner Tsingshan during the inauguration.
