# Sona Comstar and DENSO form two joint ventures for electric and hybrid powertrain systems

Sona Comstar (Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd) and DENSO Corporation have signed definitive agreements to establish two joint ventures to develop, design, manufacture and market electric and hybrid powertrain systems for multiple vehicle segments. One JV will focus on high-voltage liquid-cooled traction inverters, motors and generators for four-wheelers and larger vehicles; the other on air-cooled traction inverters, motors, generators and e-Axles for two- and three-wheelers.
