# Dixon Technologies and Gemtek form joint venture for optical transceivers in India

Dixon Technologies and its subsidiary Dixon Electroconnect have entered into a binding term sheet with Taiwanese Gemtek to form a joint venture in India for manufacturing optical transceivers, including SFPs and BOSA. Dixon and Gemtek will hold 60% and 40% equity respectively in Dixon Electroconnect.
