# TANIOBIS to expand functional tantalum powder capacity in Thailand

TANIOBIS GmbH, an affiliate of JX Advanced Metals, decided to invest in expanding facilities for functional tantalum powder production at its Map Ta Phut plant in Thailand, increasing capacity by approximately 1.5 times compared to March 2022. The expanded facilities are scheduled to commence operation sequentially from the first half of 2027.
