# Berger-Becker Coatings opens polyester resin plant near Nagpur

Berger-Becker Coatings, a joint venture of Beckers Group and Berger Paints India, inaugurated a resin manufacturing plant at MIDC Butibori, Nagpur district, Maharashtra, on 28 May 2026. The plant produces polyester resins for coil coatings with an initial capacity of about 9,000 tonnes per year, expandable to 14,000 tonnes. Commercial production is scheduled for Q3 2026.
