# Yanmar starts construction of new factory in Indaiatuba, Brazil

Japanese multinational Yanmar began construction in May 2026 of a new factory in Indaiatuba, São Paulo, with an initial investment of R$190 million (total R$280 million). The first phase is expected to be completed in 2027, when operations will begin and activities from the existing unit will be transferred, including production of tractors, engines and generators.
