# Trelleborg acquires Gomet S.r.l. to expand automotive boots business

Trelleborg Group, through Trelleborg Industrial Solutions, has signed an agreement and finalized the acquisition of Gomet S.r.l., an Italian company specializing in protective polymer components for automotive systems, including constant velocity joint boots. Gomet's headquarters and manufacturing are in Azeglio, Italy, with annual sales of approximately SEK 270 million. The seller is Huntsman Corporation.
