# Tower Semiconductor to take full ownership of TPSCo's 300mm fab

Tower Semiconductor and Nuvoton Technology have agreed to restructure TPSCo, with Tower acquiring full ownership and operation of the 300mm wafer manufacturing facility in Uozu, Japan, while Nuvoton will take over the 200mm facility in Tonami. Nuvoton will pay Tower $25 million upon completion.
