# Cabelte invests €150M in new cable plant in Ribeirão, Portugal

Cabelte – Cabos Elétricos S.A. announced an investment of over €150 million to build a new production unit in Ribeirão, Portugal, next to its current industrial hub. The plant will have a modular warehouse of around 30,000 m² and seven new production lines, increasing medium and high voltage cable production by 30,000 tonnes per year and creating over 200 new jobs.
