X-FAB celebrated the grand opening of a new manufacturing line at its Sarawak facility, representing a $600 million investment. The expansion added 6,000 sq m of cleanroom space and increased monthly wafer starts from 30,000 to 40,000, more than doubling capacity for its 180nm BCD-on-SOI technology.
