# Transnet Port Terminals and Liebherr sign 10-year port equipment partnership

Transnet Port Terminals (TPT) and Liebherr have entered into a ten-year partnership agreement to modernise South Africa's port operations, including supply of STS cranes, RTG cranes, RMG cranes and mobile harbour cranes, plus a 20-year asset management programme. Liebherr is also investing in a new Competence and Distribution Centre in Durban and upgrading its Cape Town service setup.
