# AEQ Amethyst to acquire LyondellBasell's European olefins and polyolefins plants

AEQ Amethyst B.V. has agreed to acquire exclusive control of certain integrated and non-integrated olefins and polyolefins production plants from LyondellBasell Industries Holding B.V., located in France, Germany, the UK, and Spain, along with related sales and support activities. The transaction was filed with Brazil's Cade on July 30, 2025, and is expected to close in the first half of 2026.
