# EssilorLuxottica to acquire PUcore's ophthalmic lens materials division

EssilorLuxottica signed an agreement to acquire all assets and entities of PUcore's division dedicated to developing, manufacturing and selling monomers for high-index ophthalmic lenses. The acquisition includes an R&D unit, a production facility and a sales office in South Korea.
