# Sinosteel MECC wins EPC contract for ArcelorMittal TPJ steel pipe expansion

Sinosteel Equipment and Engineering Company (Sinosteel MECC) won an EPC contract from ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Al-Jubail (ArcelorMittal TPJ) to build a new heat treatment and finishing line at its seamless steel pipe facility in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The heat treatment line will have a capacity of 200,000 t/y and the finishing line 150,000 t/y. Groundbreaking is expected in December 2025.
